What is the DRoP by THW?
DRoP is a luxury 'ready to ship', eco sustainable brand of The Headboard Workshop (THW). We offer ready made headboards in designer, luxury and top end fabrics specially sourced from our suppliers to combat industry waste.
The fabrics can be remnants, colour trials or end-of-rolls specially selected for their appeal.
New stock is added to the website on a Friday. Registering to take part will mean you'll get an email with 10 minutes early shopping. time before new stock items are made public.
There is usually only one of each design available during the drop and the variety of colours, fabrics and shapes at each drop is a surprise!
Which sizes of headboard are in a new stock drop?
DRoP is made up of the UKs most popular sized headboards; Double, Kingsize, Super King and ‘Twingle’™ (a pair of matching 3ft singles for use as a twin setup or as a zip and link solution for a 6ft super king bed base).
Which headboard styles are included?
We select our most popular styles of headboard for each drop. These include the Samson, Puffin and Barra in line with current trends. These are THW's most popular headboards and they suit a wide range of fabric patterns.
Our Drop Designer, Sheryl, uses customer feedback, a keen eye for interiors fashion and her extensive knowledge of the fabric brands we use to decide what should be made into what to ensure the most variety.
Which designer fabrics do we include?
We regularly feature fabrics sourced with help from Fermoie, Charlotte Gaisford, Rapture & Wright, Ian Mankin, Sarah Hardaker, Julia Brendel and Linwood.

Drop Times
New stock drops open at 9am sharp to the general public.
VIP subscribers that are pre-registered will receive a 10 minute head start, receiving the drop link in their registered email inbox at 8.50am on drop day.
Item Availability
Our items are made from designer remnants. We are therefore a bit beholden to what we can get and how much of it we can use. We are unable to take drop item requests.
At 9 am on drop day, what you see listed on the drop page is our entire stock, new, and still available.
Once an item is sold it can not be bought by someone else – our advice is to be quick!
If an item disappears whilst you are checking out it means, unfortunately, that someone else has pipped you to the post.
Dispatch and Delivery Times
All headboards purchased during the drop are dispatched with our nominated carriers. They will contact you directly to arrange your delivery.
They do not provide an installation service but your drop purchase will be taken to your room of choice.
We are not able to store drop purchases, sorry.
Our nominated carriers are not able to deliver on a specific day, please bear this in mind when ordering.
Deliveries are usually completed within 7 working days of dispatch.
Fitting Your Headboard
Drop items are delivered to your room of choice. Our carriers do not perform a fitting service.
Headboards that are fitted with plywood moulded struts or an optional wall mounting pack are easily self installed following THW's how to guides which include clear videos to follow.

Sorry, we absolutely can not ‘hold’ or reserve items or add them to quotes to be considered later.
DRoP works on a ‘see it – love it – get it’ basis only.

How much could I save?
Typically, we are able to offer the headboard as though you had not paid for the fabric.
With some fabric 'firsts' costing in excess of £170/m, on a headboard that requires 4m of fabric, you would save £680 as opposed to if you had bought and sent us the material for upholstering onto a headboard yourself.
If you’re lucky enough to bag a DRoP bargain then you’ll be absolutely chuffed to bits. We always show the full RRP of the headboard including fabric so you know exactly how good a deal you are getting!
